Think of it. A government run social media site that is localized for regions. Every time a citizen scrolls and taps, they support local businesses and generate money to run their government. If a citizen knew switching over from Facebook would decrease their taxes, they would switch in a heartbeat. And it would be a superior service too!
Think about it.
Trump:--
Imagine if every time a Citizen ate food or scrolled their phone, they were generating the revenue to finance their government.
They could do what they already do, and then not be taxed altogether for doing those things.
A government who can either purchase or create assets that deliver on those demands, by buying up all grocery stores or owning all food producers and being the sole social media platform, would bring true prosperity to the People.
It could ELIMINATE TAX.
Trump (I'm skipping formalities):--
Isolate a city. How much profit does its grocery stores produce? And how about about profits from the city's use of social media, through ad revenue mainly? Would the combined revenue be enough to finance its governing body? And if not yet, how could it be shrunk and made efficient enough so that it would? Or is it unlikely and does another asset need to be added to its revenue streams? And if so, what is it?

What do people need and what do they want?
They need food and they want amusement, to be entertained, no?
WHAT IF the MONEY the People spent on food and the TIME they spent on entertainment generated enough revenue to finance the government???
You want to see a truly PROSPEROUS nation, you look at the one that has annexed taxation!
I have an idea and a plan to ANNEX taxation just by having the People buy food and be on their phones. They do that, they don't get taxed and keep 100% of what they earn.
Maybe the answer is obvious -- should it not be? -- but isn't that an idea you would want to hear out, and maybe put its originator to the task of carrying it out to make it a reality? Isn't that the guy you want to be known for spotting, mentoring and sponsoring?
Who doesn't love a Yoda, the wise and skilled master who trained his pupil to save the people, more than they do a Luke?
